About this session:

Case Study: Promoting Water Conservation Ashokan Water Services has implemented comprehensive water sub-metering solutions in several notable projects, showcasing significant water conservation and cost savings. Chelsea Market In Manhattan’s Meatpacking District, Chelsea Market installed sub-meters and data loggers in 148 tenant and end-use areas. Using AquaSync’s cloud platform for real-time monitoring, this system reduced the water footprint, enhanced leak detection, and provided tenants with transparent consumption data. In 2020 alone, over 141 leaks were detected. Hudson Yards Designed to meet LEED Gold Standards, Hudson Yards integrated 73 sub-meters for tenants and mechanical systems. Ashokan’s AquaSync software provided real-time data and alerts, helping detect 274 leaks during the pandemic, saving tens of thousands of dollars. The Compass Residences Part of the West Farms Redevelopment Plan, Compass Residences faced high water consumption. Ashokan’s leak survey and sub-metering identified leaks in 95% of apartments, reducing retail water usage by 74%. This led to a 54% reduction in the water footprint, conserving 15.7 million gallons of water and saving $208K annually since 2018. These case studies highlight Ashokan Water Services' expertise in optimizing water use, enhancing efficiency, and achieving substantial cost savings.
