The facility management industry is at an exciting crossroad. We have the continued pressure to do more for less riding on the backs of a shrinking, skilled workforce. Strained supply chains still wreak havoc on maintaining equipment and minimizing downtime. Aging infrastructure just keeps aging. All the while, the seemingly overwhelming technological advances muddy up the water. The key question at this juncture is how do we wrap our heads around the changing landscape, leveraging technology to empower the next generation of facility management. In this educational session, we will discuss how we can set a vision for evolution and build a workable plan for achieving such. Additionally, we will highlight many of the technologies available and how to employ them, as we gear up the next generation of facility practitioners.
