Mr. Larry brings over 35 years of comprehensive experience in new and renovation projects with focus on smart and energy-efficient MEP systems and with a design-build breadth of knowledge specializing in unique HVAC solutions which solve problems, improve comfort, and reduce energy consumption. Recent projects focusing on smart building design and integration help clients develop building to utilize the internet of things (IOT). He is a Vice-Chairman of the Association for Smarter Homes & Buildings (ASHB) Intelligent Buildings Council (IBC). He chaired additional committees including the zero-energy consortium, the Building Intelligence Quotient (BIQ) as well as papers on advanced lighting control and fire alarm integration. He is currently a chairperson on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Global Cities Team Challenge (GCTC) on Smart Buildings and Smart Cities (SBSC). He has chaired many committees within the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers. (ASHRAE) including the Technology, Energy and Governmental Activities and the Chapter Technology Transfer Committees. Mr. Larry is an industry leader with his work with the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) where he was a local chapter president and taught the course for the CEM. AEE chose him as ?Energy Engineer of the Year 2000? an International award.
