Tom Dietsche is a Sr. Energy Efficiency Program Manager for Maryland C&I programs at Pepco Holdings, Inc. (PHI, an Exelon company), overseeing EmPOWER incentive programs for Delmarva Power and Pepco. Prior to this, as the manager of energy-efficient solutions at a lighting services company, he developed successful SSL (LED) lighting upgrade proposals employing multiple value propositions, and employing electric utility incentive opportunities for individual and portfolio property managers, especially in the multifamily housing, office, and warehouse markets. Tom has had a passion for resource efficiency and sustainable development since discovering the high-performance buildings field over 25 years ago, including positions at the President?s Council on Sustainable Development, ICMA, the U.S. Green Building Council (10 years), and LEED certification consultancies. Having first been an audio engineer, he naturally uses a systems-based approach toward meeting challenges and creating solutions.
