About this session:

This highly interactive session will provide an in-depth exploration of the critical components necessary for developing and implementing an effective Emergency Action Plan (EAP) tailored to armed assailant events. Participants will review statistics, and gain insights into the pivotal role of communication in preventing such incidents and learn about the primary actions individuals should take during an active shooter event, emphasizing the well-established Run, Hide, Fight personal response strategies. Additionally, the session will highlight often overlooked yet equally important elements that should be incorporated into armed assailant training programs. Lastly, the session will examine how facilities can leverage technology to enhance their preparedness and response capabilities during armed assailant events.
