This presentation will explain the fundamental differences between Automation and Optimization Controls through the understanding of the basic engineering fundamentals of Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer and Thermodynamics and utilizing these principals with digitalization and demand-based controls to maximize system performance of the entire plant, providing upwards of 40% energy savings over traditional controls strategies.  The discussion will highlight the importance of data and maintaining persistence over the life to the system as well.
