Gary Dominguez is a Manager and Senior Fire Protection Engineer at Jensen Hughes with 10 years of experience. He is a registered Fire Protection Engineer (CA), Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) and a Certified Associate DBIA Professional. He has worked on technical projects including life safety code consulting, fire modeling for smoke control systems, performance-based design and code consulting for the design of fire detection, fire alarm, fire suppression and smoke control systems. He has extensive experience utilizing various computer fire modeling programs including FDS, Pyrosim, Pathfinder and CONTAMW. Gary has worked on a wide range of facilities such as residential, hospitals, colleges and universities, retail and commercial, high-rises, storage facilities, transportation, airports, large assembly, amusement parks and international projects. Gary was awarded Top 5 Under 35 by SFPE and was recognized in SFPE?s Pathway?s to A Career in Fire Protection Engineering magazine. Gary strives to give back to the fire protection industry through his involvement in the SFPE Fire Service Committee and presenting at various conferences/events.
