Hershel is a mechanical engineer and NYC Master Licensed Plumber. Public Service includes President of American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE), NYC Sustainability Advisory Board, Department of Building (DOB) Master Plumbers Board, NYC DOB Innovation Board, Mayor?s Green Codes Task Force and currently serves on the International Plumbing Code Adoption Committee. Hershel is an avid kayaker, his personal goal is to minimize the effects of CSO and storm water runoff within the Hudson River Estuary in order to create a positive impact on New York City?s environment.
