About this session:
Much of the focus the past number of years has been on finding and hiring skilled labor to backfill the on-going exodus of baby boomers from the workforce. With all of the effort being expended to bring them in, what is being done to bring them on? In this educational session, we will share ideas for on-boarding and engrafting new employees into the team. We will identify steps for drafting and moving staff through career development plans, including how to evaluate aptitude and interest. Additionally, we will discuss how to further build the bench through knowledge sharing and cross-training.
